Highlights Of Cotton Rugs
When wanting to add a bit more comfort to your house or maybe solely to one room of it, a pleasant way to add heat and style is by adding some high quality cotton rugs into the mix. This is a cost effective way to add comfort in a room and to even spruce up the appearance of it all without having to spend too much over budget. With the right cotton rugs, an individual can change the whole look to a room because with the right colours and the right placement, you have got a brand new room.
Cotton rugs can be used in just about any room through the house and even on a covered porch. One of the best things about most cotton rugs is that they are washable and just like you can get certain stains out of clothing, you can remove and wash out a lot of dirt and stains from the rugs. Cotton rugs that are kept in good shape can go on for many years so it an investment that's definitely worth it and you will never regret.
With so many houses and interiors having such a big amount of different styles, it's no wonder that the clamor for different shapes and sizes of cotton rugs is so high. If you can think of a style and a color, it is extremely possible that there will be a store in your area or somewhere online that sells it. Pretty much everything you can imagine can be discovered and for fairly reasonable costs as well. Start looking around to see all of the many different options of cotton rugs are available and you should soon find something that you can't live without.
There are small rugs, large rugs, accent rugs, and carpet sized rugs all to fit the many different needs that customers have. A lot of times nice fluffy cotton rugs are used in the bedrooms over top of older carpet or on top on hardwood floors in order to help keep the feet warm. Cotton rugs are also a great addition for bogs as they dry up nicely and give a warm and mild touch to the dcor of the room. So when looking for an easy and pretty inexpensive way to spruce up your living arrangements, you may want to check out some nice cotton rugs and see which one speaks to you.
How to dust my room properly?
Hi my room which I haven't used for nearly a year now is covered in dust. How do I remove it properly (I'm knew to housekeeping).
I have a vax vacuum cleaner and some large cotton dusting clothes. Is that all I need or do I need some other things too, like disinfectant spray?
thanks
It's pretty easy to do, but there are steps involved. The first thing to remember is that you DO NOT want to go in there like a maniac and just start wiping stuff down. All this will do is spread the dust around, clog the air, and give you a runny nose and watery eyes. About that time the cute chick from next door will knock and you'll be standing there with snot dripping from your upper lip and crying like someone just ran over your dog. Not attractive, dude.
So...get a towel or old cotton t-shirt. Not a pair of old jeans and not anything polyester. In fact, if you own anything polyester, throw it away before we go any further. I know the seventies are coming back, but if they come that far back I'm gonna have to start slapping people and I'll start with you. Anyway, take the cotton rag (if it isn't a rag now, consider that it will be soon) and get it soaking wet in warm water. Or hot water, or cold water, whatever, just get it wet. Then wring out the rag so it's not dripping any water and start wiping things down. Start at the top or highest point. Wipe slowly so you don't spread dust all over (see above). After every wipe, turn the rag over to a clean portion and repeat. Once the rag is a dirty sloppy mess, take it back to the sink and rinse it. Keep doing that until everything is clean. And I mean everything: the desk, the dresser, the head board, the windows, every-damn-thing.
Now, you're all "but won't this hurt the wood?" No, it won't. Notice I said to wring out the rag so it isn't dripping water? Yeah, I did that for a reason. But you're still all "but all the glass stuff has streaks" No kidding! You're gone for a year and have only spent 20 minutes on this! Suck it up and read on.
If you haven't used all of your old cotton rags, find a clean one and get some furniture polish like Pledge or something and do the wood pieces. It will get rid of any smears and it smells better than the room you've kept closed up for a year. The glass? Same thing but use Windex and newspaper. Yeah, I said newspaper. It's the best damn thing in the world to clean glass, bar none. Don't use the shiny bra and panty ads like you want to, either. No shiny paper at all, just the newsprint paper.
When this is all done, and it only took like an hour tops, think about this way chill answer from some fricking super-cool dude you don't even know but wish you did. Then make his the top answer because you know this was way easy to do and cool to read.
Later, bro
