One of the most important features that you will want in cordless polishers is that they make it easy to change out the polishing discs. If you are really using this polisher all the time, then changing out the polishing pads will really matter. If you're familiar with cordless polishers then you'll understand why this is such an important feature.
You also need to know about the power the polisher has. If you have a polisher that can operate at a high speed you will be much happier with the results that you get. This is particularly important when you work in an auto body shop. A previously damaged car can come out looking new with a really good polish.
Another thing to look for is a polisher that has that a reverse mode. This means you want to see if you can get cordless polishers that go bother clockwise and counter-clockwise. Different people like different things and some want a polisher that goes in one direction and someone else will want it to go the other, so it's best to get one that can go either direction.

How to remove very dry, hard grout stains from black slate floor?
I tried vinegar and nylon scouring pads (no effect).The grout dried months ago and it is very hard now. Sandpaper works but leaves a whitish spot. Only slow patient scrapping with a putty knife has done the trick, but this way it would take years to finish the whole house. I want to use muriatic acid or an electric sander with polishing pad but my wife is against it because she thinks it will damage the finish of the black Colombian slate
ok so who put the floor in ,,,,,they should be cleaning it ~!! your wife is right , sand paper spinning with muriatic acid is a deadly combo , i would try to remove as much as possible with putty knife and then apply a 10 percent solution of muriatic acid / water mix . just to the affected area let soak while your putty knifing the next area .go back and try to scrub it off with a green scrub pad white ones are not aggressive enough , wear rubber gloves and eye protection ( full wrap around or goggles ) and scrub away .
try this in an area that isn't going to be visible ( couch area ) and see if it changes the color or finish of the slate ,,before you do the whole floor ~!
make sure you have plenty of ventilation as the acid fumes can burn your lungs .
